Applying for JobAccess
funding for ADHD coaching

Takes about 30 minutes. Do it on your PC, not a phone!

Tip: Keep the guide open on your phone while you apply — click here for how

Check your eligibility

The answer's yes if:

• You are diagnosed with ADHD and it impacts your work
• You work at least 8 hrs/week over a 13 week period
• You're an Australian citizen or permanent resident
• You earn the minimum wage or more/hour if self-employed. (Note: This may exclude certain tasks e.g. admin v. client-facing rates.)

This guide is for people who have never applied, or who were approved for funding more than 12 months ago. It walks you through the application process so that it's easier than ever.

If you've applied before and it's less than 12 months since you were approved, go here for how to reapply.

Can't log in to myGov / no code arrived?
You may need to set up the myID App. If you don't already have it, it's genuinely super easy to set up — don't let it throw you!

Setting up the myID app

  1. On your phone, open the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Android).
  2. Search "myID".
  3. Install it — the app walks you through setup.
  4. It's genuinely easy, and handy for other things too!

2. Fill in your application

a) Sign in to myGov and follow the prompts to agree to the privacy policy.

This bit can look a little different depending on whether you’ve used myGov or JobAccess before — you might also be asked to accept terms of use and a security declaration. Just follow the prompts.

b) On the Welcome page, scroll down to Employment Assistance Fund (EAF) and click Start new EAF application.

c) Choose who’s making the application from the drop-down list, then click Next. Most people select Individual/Employee, or Self-Employed if that’s you.

You can apply, or your employer can apply for you
Either works — but it's generally quicker when you do it yourself, so that's what most people choose.

d) Read the terms and conditions, tick the box, and click Submit.

The form has five tabs
1
Individual / Employee
Your name and contact details.
2
Nominee
You can nominate someone to help you with this. Pop my details in if you'd like that to be me — click here for my details.
3

Your employer's details, if you choose to. It's not mandatory.
Not comfortable with your employer knowing you have ADHD?
You don't have to tell them, or give their details. Put your own contact details in instead, and when JobAccess gets in touch, explain this — they hear it often.
